IPVS Website Announcement: Confirmation of the Host for IPVS 2030
The IPVS Board is pleased to announce that the Board has accepted Minnesota, USA, as the official host of the IPVS 2030 Congress. The IPVS Board ratified the decision following the postponement of the original Minnesota Congress, and subsequent review of hosting readiness and regional rotation considerations.
Minnesota must present its full bid for IPVS 2030 to the IPVS General Assembly at the IPVS 2028 Congress, Madrid, Spain.
The IPVS Board expresses its appreciation to the Minnesota Local Organising Committee (LOC) for its continued commitment, flexibility, and dedication to delivering a world-class scientific IPVS Congress.
IPVS Website Announcement: Invitation for Bids – IPVS 2032
The IPVS Board hereby invites formal bids to host the IPVS 2032 Congress from countries in Africa, Oceania, and Asia. The Board encourages at least three (3) bids per region (Africa, Oceania, and Asia) in order to ensure a robust and representative selection process.
All bid documents must be submitted electronically to the IPVS Board by no later than 31 October 2027.
Bids that are accepted by the IPVS Board must be presented in person to the IPVS Board during the IPVS 2028 Congress in Madrid, Spain and thereafter to the General Assembly where the successful host country for IPVS 2032 will be determined by vote.
In the event that there are no bids from the Asia / Oceania / Africa region by 31 October 2027, the Board will open the bid process to all other regions with a closing date of 28 February 2028. These strict timelines will be maintained in order that the IPVS can revert to a 4-year preparation date for IPVS 2032.
